Well, it’s not really my cup of tea anime nowadays. I only decided to watch this because I liked the main character’s voice actor, Takashi Kondo, and because it seemed the summary sounded nice.
This story of “love, magic, and battles” revolves around Akuto Sai, a boy who aims to become part of his country’s highest order of magicians and contribute to society as one of its clergy. On the day he is admitted into the Constan Magical Academy, his aptitude test predicts the following: “Future Occupation … Devil King.” Thus begins his severe school life in which he is resented by his studious female class head, desired by a girl with mysterious powers, and guarded by a beautiful female android.
“Nice” being that part where he wants to be a High Priest after he graduates but during the aptitude test that “never gets wrong”, the crow/bird (whatever animal that was) announced (terrifyingly) that Sai would become a Demon King.
The thing that made me kinda down with this is that it’s ecchi. Normally, I don’t have any problems with ecchi but I’ve been thrown tons of ecchi to watch the past days and my mind’s getting tired from watching too many panty shots, large breasts and so on and so forth. However, the opposite kind of ecchi, where it’s men instead of women… Well, that’d be great. 😀
BTW, doesn’t Sai remind of Harry Potter?! Look at his clothes on the screen shot, the only thing he needs is the crest or something. Lol. It’s been years since I last saw Harry Potter. 😛 And the crow or bird or whatever animal that thing was also reminds me of the sorting hat from Harry Potter because they nearly have the same jobs. 😀
It’s like an anime, ecchi version of Harry Potter with more comedy than drama.
However, it’s not really my type to drop any anime–and I’ve dropped three anime (including this one) already! Nooos~ I really hate dropping anime, for some reason which I have no idea of. >.> So, it’s most likely I’d still watch this in the future, most likely when I have nothing else to do, so I’m still going to continue downloading the rest of the series from Ryuumaru Fansubs.
And yeah, I know Ryuumaru is releasing the uncensored versions so I get to see more skin. It was the first one in AnimeSuki and it had the most votes from MAL, so that’s why I DLed from them. Anyway, this might make my cousins happy if I see them this December since they are guys. >.>
